and guidance on job search techniques: The majority of enquiries
stem around job search issues, these range from general job hunting
enquiries such as "I want to look for a job, but I don't
know what job", to "Where do I look for jobs".
Hitslink has liases with Employment Services, Employment Agencies
and local organisations, as well as encouraging clients to use
the internet to secure employment.

form filling: Guidance in filling in application forms.

preparation and techniques: Individual guidance on interview
techniques is given, mock interviews and practice questions are
set. If you follow the person specification , you most certainly

are many types of CVs and lots to consider :- the format, whether

guidance on starting your own business: enquiries from young people
wanting to become self employed. Business start ups have included
catering, card making, cake decorating and music groups.

opportunities to start up your own business.
- Links with
Prince's Youth Business Trust and other business organisations
to help gain research grants to start the market research for
potential business.

- SRB Driving
Course: Hitslink have been successful in gaining funding to
run a driving course which enables Hitslink to provide driving
lessons via BSM to increase employability of our clients. 6 places
were offered last year.
